- Perform title examinations while adhering to title standards, company policy and underwriter requirements.
- Conduct title examination based on available information: title insurance order, purchase agreement, title search, real estate tax data, name search, assessment search and plat drawing.
- Process requests for title commitment endorsements and supplementals.
- Provide professional guidance to the customer regarding possible “action steps" to resolve title issues, without giving legal advice.
- Communicate regularly with the Account Executives and Managers regarding title issues and possible “action steps" to fulfill title requirements.
- Type, proof and review the title commitment and all customer correspondence for accuracy and content, prior to distribution.
- Assist closers with resolving any clearance issues at the closing table.
- Oversee policy issuance
- Work with the other Proper Title team members to ensure title insurance orders are processed in a timely manner, taking into consideration any special needs/requirements of the customer.

High school Diploma and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Microsoft Office proficiency and Real Estate knowledge are a plus.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and commissions.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations

furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
